The LG Smart Thermostat is part of the Apple Home Collection — easy-to-use accessories that are simple to set up and that provide a private Apple Home experience. Designed in collaboration with Apple and select brands.¹
With the Home app, Adaptive Temperature uses your iPhone to predict when you are returning home and automatically prompts your thermostat to preheat or precool your living space. With activity states like home, sleep, away, and extended away, the LG Smart Thermostat provides comfort and saves energy without the need to create or manage schedules.
Clean Energy Guidance from Apple provides grid forecasts to help you choose when to use electricity. These forecasts are personalized for your home location and are based on environmental and grid inputs. They identify the times when there’s relatively cleaner electricity on the grid. Your electricity rate plan information is also incorporated if you’ve connected your utility account in the Home app.
Maintain more balanced comfort throughout your home with LG temperature sensors (sold separately) and those built into Apple HomeView and HomePod in additional rooms. By monitoring conditions in multiple spaces, you can make more informed comfort adjustments.
